The Tablewright was founded in 2026 in New York City. We are small by design and take on a limited number of restaurants at a time.
Ashutosh Gehlot previously led growth and operations at a consumer skilling company, where teaching people a craft to a standard was the product. He hired and trained more than 500 people, ran large sales and operations teams, owned a full P&L, and led a company-wide turn to profitability. He holds an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. Food and hospitality have been a lifelong study for him.
